Oh, my. Who remembers forgetting to breathe as you watched this scene with Don Johnson and Judith Ivey?

This TV version of The Long Hot Summer I thought was much more gripping than the original movie (with Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward). Nothing wrong with the movie per se, but the tension didn’t reach out and grab you like so many scenes in this version did.
